How We Approach Every Service
Every watch that arrives at Suriya Timeworks follows the same initial path: a careful examination by a qualified watchmaker, followed by a written summary of what was found and what we would suggest. This happens before any work begins and before any cost is incurred.
We believe this approach makes better outcomes more likely. An owner who understands what is being proposed is better placed to make a decision that suits their situation — whether that means a full service, a specific repair, or simply collecting the watch and thinking about it further.
The work itself is performed by our own watchmakers using professional tools and calibrated lubricants. Timelines are realistic. We do not promise faster turnarounds than the work genuinely requires. After service, movements are verified on a timing machine before being returned.

Service 01
Routine Service & Oiling

A maintenance service that keeps a working watch running well by cleaning key components, renewing lubrication, and checking the rate. Recommended on a regular cycle — typically every three to five years for mechanical watches used frequently — to help avoid larger repairs later. We share clear notes on the watch's condition and timekeeping, and the service includes a warranty on completed work.
What is included:
- Full movement disassembly and ultrasonic cleaning
- Replacement of worn gaskets and seals where required
- Fresh watchmaking lubricants applied to correct locations
- Rate adjustment and multi-position timing check
- Written condition and rate report on return

Bracelet & Case Refinishing

A focused cosmetic service that gently refreshes the metal surfaces of a watch, removing everyday marks from cases and bracelets while preserving sharp edges and original lines. We discuss the desired finish first — brushed, polished, or a careful mix — so the result suits your preference. Delicate dials and crystals are protected throughout, and we work only within what is agreed. A suitable choice before a special occasion or when a tidier appearance is simply something you would enjoy.

- Case and bracelet degreasing and preparation
- Scratch and scuff removal on agreed surfaces

Comprehensive Vintage Rebuild

An in-depth restoration for older mechanical watches that need more than a service — including attention to worn pivots, tired mainsprings, and ageing seals. The work aims to return the timepiece to dependable daily life while respecting its origins, with original parts conserved wherever sensible. Each rebuild begins with a thoughtful inspection and a written outline of the steps and costs, and proceeds at a measured, careful pace.

- Ageing gaskets and crown seals replaced
